Named Accountable GP

Practices are required, under the GMS contract, to allocate a named accountable GP to all patients, including children.

This does not change the way in which we operate or affect your ability to make an appointment or speak with any of the GPs in the practice.

All our patients have now been allocated to a named GP. Our GPs have, for many years, maintained a personal list of patients and these have not been altered. Where there has been retirement or changes in the number of clinics a doctor runs per week patients have been reallocated and informed of their new GP.

New patients registering are allocated a named GP at point of registration.

Should you express a wish to change your named GP, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes. Please contact the practice manager requesting the change.

Please feel free to contact our patient navigation team to find out who your named accountable GP is.
